⁃ in your mixer blend the vegan shortening and maple syrup for about 1-2 minutes.

⁃ Add in the coconut milk for another minute.

⁃ While the mixer is mixing your wet ingredients, in your dry bowl add the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

⁃ Once your dry mixture is stirred, slowly add your dry ingredients to your wet ingredients in the main mixer.

⁃ Remove the mixer and fold in your chocolate chips. If you would like to add any other ingredients here you can! Have fun trying out your favorite cookie flavors!

⁃ I took a cup of cookie dough and set it aside and poured the rest into my Winston non stick heart bake pan.

⁃ Cooke the cake pan for about 15-18 minutes at 350 degrees F.

⁃ Take your heart cookie cake out of the oven once you smell it done or see that no cake sticks to a tooth pick. Set the pan for 5 minutes on the cookie cooling rack.

⁃ After 5 minutes take your serving plate/platter and place it on top of the heart cake. Both hands together flip the cake over onto your plate/platter.

⁃ Enjoy! Our family likes it just how it is! If yours would like some frosting decorating check out my comments below for some frosting options. Just make sure you wait for the cookie cake to fully cool before adding any frosting to make sure it sticks pretty!
